EDINBURG – No one will ever know how much alcohol, if any, that Carlos Rodriguez Santiago had in his blood stream when he slammed his pickup truck (allegedly) into 18-year-old Edinburg resident Lorena Perez and her companion, a minor, at approximately 9:35 p.m the night of Aug. 1.
This story isn’t local, but it could be, because those still spouting anti-vax rhetoric, as was the case at a recent Hidalgo County Commissioners Court meeting, are almost as common as a breakfast taco.
