Hidalgo County will receive 11,700 COVID-19 vaccine doses

Texas state health officials have notified Hidalgo County that five local hospitals will receive 11,700 doses of COVID-19 vaccines as part of its initial allotment once federal officials approve a vaccine. The earliest the Food and Drug Administration can give such approval is December 10 during a scheduled meeting to review vaccine applications.

PSJA ISD Provides Flu, HPV, other Mandatory Vaccines

PHARR - Pharr-San Juan-Alamo (PSJA) ISD will continue to provide free to low-cost mandatory vaccines, including the Flu and Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccines to PSJA ISD students on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Liberty Middle School from 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm through a grant provided by the School-based Human Papillomavirus Vaccination Program together with the University of Texas Medical Branch. It was the best of times

Probably every generation thinks the same, but I really do think I grew up in the best of times – 1955 to when I stumbled into my 18 year in 1973. Besides the sad assassinations, the Viet Nam conflict, Kent State, racial unrest, and other events that were anything but pleasant, that time period for most people on a personal level were great times.
