The McAllen Police Department, in partnership with the Texas Department of Transportation and other Hidalgo County law enforcement agencies, will be participating in the Click It or Ticket Day and Night campaign which will run from Monday November 16, 2020 through Sunday November 29, 2020 in an effort to promote safe driving with its education and enforcement efforts.

EDINBURG – Hidalgo County Criminal District Attorney Ricardo Rodriguez Jr. announced the dissemination of Public Service Announcements for mass media communication to urge victims of domestic violence to seek help and to know they are not alone.

As the holiday season approaches, this time of year is especially important for our small business community. As is celebrated every year, Small Business Saturday is an opportunity to support our small businesses in our community this upcoming Saturday, November 28, 2020. We all understand that small businesses have been impacted during the COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in closures, loss of customers, and loss of revenue. At the Pharr Economic Development Corporation, we have helped many small businesses in Pharr as they recover from the negative impact of COVID-19. Funds from the CARES Act were used to provide small business grants to cover the cost of business operating expenses. We will continue to support our business community in Pharr in every way we can. This weekend, I encourage all residents and families to remember to shop local, shop small, and help out our business community in Pharr.
