McALLEN — As the City of McAllen’s Bicentennial Boulevard extension construction continues, a troubling trend is emerging that is cause for concern: McAllen residents are running and biking along the constructed road extension as contractors are working in the area. This is especially troubling to contractors who are operating heavy equipment and vehicles, as this is creating a potentially dangerous situation for anyone on-site other than authorized personnel.
EDINBURG – Ten residents have died due to complications related to COVID-19 and 675 people tested positive for the virus. The total number of positive cases is 25,169.
