MOSTHistory Receives Relief Grant

EDINBURG — The Board of Trustees of the Museum of South Texas History is pleased to announce the receipt of a Relief Grant of $15,000 for emergency funding from Humanities Texas. According to Humanities Texas, Relief Grants were awarded to museums and other organizations that “administer humanities programs that have significant impact within their communities and demonstrated immediate need as a result of the pandemic.” The grant monies can fund overhead costs, the retention of staff and a shift from on-site programming to online programming making resources available to those who depend on the museum for education and connection.
