City of Palmview Launches Palmview CARES Small Business Grant Program

PALMVIEW — Palmview Mayor Ricardo “Rick” Villarreal and the Palmview City Council are pleased to announce that the city will be offering up to $100,000 in grants to small businesses in Palmview that have been negatively impacted by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. The purpose of the Small Business Grant Program is to provide temporary, shortterm financial assistance to assist eligible small businesses with expenses such as employee payroll, mortgage or rental lease payments, utilities, and other eligible expenses.

McAllen Partners with Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. for Small Business Loans

The City of McAllen, partnered with Affordable Homes of South Texas, Inc. (AHSTI) to provide loans to small businesses in McAllen affected by the COVID-19 global pandemic. The City of McAllen Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) CV-Program, in collaboration with AHSTI, doing business as Business Relief RGV, will provide loans up to $25,000 at zero percent interest, for businesses in McAllen with less than 50 employees.

Weslaco Tax Office Closed
