EDINBURG — Twenty-six residents have died today due to COVID-19 complications, Hidalgo County Judge Richard F. Cortez said Monday. Another 398 tested positive for the virus which brings the total number of known positive cases to 17,751.

Created by the Texas Department of Emergency Management, the Hurricane Hanna Self-Reporting Damage Survey allows residents to fill out a form online and submit a request for assistance.
