McAllen City Commission tables the renewal of $60,000 contract with McGuireWoods Consulting

The McAllen City Commission on Monday, June 22, 2020, delayed taking action, for at least one month, on the renewal of its existing $60,000 contract with McGuireWoods Consulting, LLC, which represents the City of McAllen before the Texas Legislature, until the local elected leaders receive and review an update on what that firm accomplished during the past year.

COVID-19 takes the life of one more person in Hidalgo County; another 193 test positive for the virus
