Special to the Advance McALLEN — Families are invited to the International Museum of Art & Science (IMAS) on March 19, for PNC Adventure Day, a fun-filled spring event celebrating young children and early childhood learning. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will feature engaging activities tailored for children ages six and under.

Special to the Advance PHARR — The Pharr Police Department is honored to host 6-year-old Zayn Ochoa, a brave young boy who has recently triumphed over leukemia and dreams of becoming a police officer. To celebrate his courage and resilience, Zayn will be named a Junior Police Officer by the Pharr Police Department.

The City of McAllen Passport Division will be open on Sat., March 22, 2025 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its facility in the McAllen Downtown Parking Garage, located at 221 S. 15th St.
