The dysfunctional March 1 Hidalgo County Democrat Primary may have proven to be a joke in the way it was seemingly mishandled by interim County Chair Patrick Eronini (somebody else’s fault, he says), but the lawsuit that now follows it can’t seem funny to incumbent county judge Richard Cortez, who must now pay attorneys to defend against it.
