Poor José (not his real name), the McHi grad. He just can’t catch a break on this side of the border. Okay, getting busted for pot trafficking (approximately 30 pounds) was probably on him; and okay, the second pot bust about three years later, approximately the same size load, was also on him; but the guy served his time (14 years) and paid his debt to society.
While many law enforcement agencies now have no-pursuit policies in place when chasing suspected “illegals,” the Texas DPS is apparently not giving up the chase.
The dysfunctional March 1 Hidalgo County Democrat Primary may have proven to be a joke in the way it was seemingly mishandled by interim County Chair Patrick Eronini (somebody else’s fault, he says), but the lawsuit that now follows it can’t seem funny to incumbent county judge Richard Cortez, who must now pay attorneys to defend against it.
Note to Biden supporters: when Trump did something stupid, which was fairly often, either via his ridiculous daily juvenile tweets or the words that poured from his orange, pursed lips, I ridiculed him as well, so don’t count me as a political partisan. Now it’s Biden’s turn to be roasted:
