He’s baaack. Televangelist Pat Robertson, that is, scaring the bejeesus out of me with his recent talk of Armageddon. He’s now saying (as of March 1) that “Vlad the Bad” Putin was “compelled by God” to invade Ukraine. Meaning, presumably based on Robertson’s knowledge of the mind of God — the End Times are near.
Last week, I listened to several speeches by President Zelenskyy. The most significant thing he said was that if Ukraine falls, Putin will go after Latvia and Estonia next, followed by Georgia, Poland, and Berlin. He was saying, in other words, that Putin’s goal was to recreate the Soviet Empire, and he would work to that end unless he was stopped now.
