AUSTIN — Gov. Greg Abbott ordered the state to slow down the reopening process for bars and other venues as coronavirus-related infections, hospitalizations and deaths continued to increase in Texas last week.

McALLEN — The McAllen Parks & Recreation Department takes the health and safety of our community as a top priority. The City of McAllen has been and will continue to closely monitor information about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and recommendations from health officials to ensure every precaution is taken for the continued safety of our patrons.

God can handle our scoldings. In fact, our outbursts of resentment and rage at Him are often the first step toward recovery. Even though our anger is initially turned against God, at least it turns us to Him.
