It's a Gas!

It's a Gas!

You may have noticed that over the last month the price of gasoline has been going slowly downward. President Biden has even made an attempt to take credit for the dip. Is he responsible? The answer to that is probably “yes” but in a very negative way. Let me explain. There are two main reasons for the dip in the price of gas. The first is that all the oil Biden is releasing from our nation's strategic petroleum reserves is affecting the price. That release, however, is a con job on his part. The White House will continue releasing oil until the beginning of November when the mid-term elections take place. As soon as the people vote, however, the releases will stop and the price of oil will bounce back upward. ( Ed. note: Still to be determined.) And how do we know the releases will stop then? That was part of the original announcement when Biden first dipped into those reserves. The reduction in the price of gasoline was merely a temporary move and a ploy to get you to vote Democrat in the fall elections.

When your oldest friend dies

Willie Nelson, God bless him, who turned 89 this year and is still playing concerts, once said something that struck me as profound. It was back when Willie’s old friend, the legendary blind pianist and song writer Ray Charles, died in 2004, so Willie would have been 71 at the time.
