The Advance News Journal published the following story April 24th about a Valley contractor who owed a small local church $22,000.

In my younger, dumber days, which may or may not have passed me by, depending on which day of the week it is, I would have celebrated the new vehicle law that the Texas Legislature passed last year and Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law last August, despite it being insane: No more vehicle safety inspections (tires, brakes, lights, etc.) needed as of Jan. 1, 2025 for noncommercial vehicles.

Last weekend at the Trump rally in Las Vegas, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene announced that she worships a convicted felon who was executed on a Roman cross.
