This week, Cinderella Pet Rescue is featuring two great looking female dogs, who both happen to be really sweethearts, too! Brandi, a would-be lap dog, turns five this month, and we can think of no better way for her to celebrate her big day than by moving to a forever home to live happily ever-after with the perfect person or family to make her dreams come true.
HUB City Toastmasters meets each Wednesday at the Pharr Memorial Library, 121 E. Cherokee, second floor, from noon until 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome.
Keep McAllen Beautiful (KMB) is hosting its fourteenth annual Arbor Day Celebration on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at Westside Park (1000 S. Ware Rd). This fundraiser benefits Keep McAllen Beautiful, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, and increases awareness of the importance of planting and caring for trees in McAllen.
