San Juan Lighting of the Tree Postponed

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the City of San Juan must postpone today’s Lighting of the Tree Ceremony in San Juan. As the gusty winds flew in last week, it affected the tree structure. Out of an abundance of caution and to ensure the public’s safety, the city is postponing the event until we can be sure it has been appropriately and safely set up. City officials will keep the community advised as to the rescheduled date, we apologize for any inconvenience. The safety of our San Juan citizens comes first!
