EDINBURG – Casa of Hidalgo County Inc., a non-profit organization, received a $2,500 grant on November 3, 2020. The grant was endowed by The Texas Bar Foundation for the purpose of Advocate recruitment, training and retention.

PHARR - Two PSJA ISD orchestra students have each earned a spot in the 2020 TMEA All-State Orchestra after auditioning virtually. Each year, more than 70,000 high school musicians across the state audition for chance to be a part of a Texas All-State Ensemble, and this year, PSJA Early College High School Senior Violinist Jaysen Garcia and PSJA Memorial ECHS Junior String Bassist Israel MacDonald were among the lucky few to earn the honor.

PHARR - Members of the Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD (PSJA ISD) tri-city community and beyond will join forces in support of student scholarships for the Class of 2021 through the first-ever PSJA Family Day of Giving 2020 virtual fundraiser to launch Tuesday, Dec. 1, 2020, during "Giving Tuesday".
