HUB City Toastmasters meets each Wednesday at the Pharr Memorial Library, 121 E. Cherokee, second floor, from noon until 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome.
This week, Cinderella is featuring two wonderful candidates for your new best friend, Mimi, a lovely tabby cat, and Pearly, an adorable, fun-loving Westie/Poodle cross.
In a span of two days, there were detectives solving a murder case; brothers on the lam with cold cash; couples contemplating a pregnancy; a lover’s ghost speaking from the dead; and some turtles strutting around.
The Pharr Community Theater is set to host a self-help seminar, as well as have auditions for an upcoming play within the upcoming days.
