With all due respect, I think Greg Abbott needs a wellness check, because it looks like something seriously wrong is going on inside his head.
McAllen Mayor Javier Villalobos penned a letter to Texas Governor Greg Abbott, expressing support for two bills filed by Chairman Terry Canales (D-40) that support border security. The letter was also signed by the mayors of 21 of the 22 cities in Hidalgo County.
Special to the Advance AUSTIN — The Texas General Land Office (GLO) announced the application for the Homeowner Assistance and Reimbursement Programs (HARP) will close at 5 p.m. on April 28. Applications will continue to be reviewed in all eligible counties affected by flooding events in South Texas and the Rio Grande Valley in 2018 and 2019. All potential applicants must submit applications by the deadline to be considered for eligibility so long as funding is available.
