Expanded Hours of operation for empty southbound commercial trucks at Anzalduas Internat. Bridge

The McAllen Bridge System announced that beginning on Monday, January 18, 2021, it will begin operating with expanded hours for empty southbound commercial trucks at Anzalduas International Bridge. On that day, hours of operation will be 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. everyday. Currently, hours of operation are 3:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The additional hours are intended to decongest and facilitate the rapid flow of southbound empty commercial traffic. With trade between the United States and Mexico fueling the economy between the two nations, the extended hours of operation will further solidify Anzalduas International Bridge as the preferred corridor for southbound empty commercial traffic.
