PSJA School Board extends COVID-19 paid leave

PHARR - Since the COVID-19 pandemic started, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo ISD has worked hard to ensure the safety of all students and staff. On Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, during the regularly scheduled board meeting, Superintendent Dr. Jorge L. Arredondo along with Board President Jorge Zambrano recommended the approval of a resolution to extend COVID-19 paid leave for all PSJA staff. The resolution was approved unanimously.

Exit and frontage road closure

The Texas Department of Transportation is advising motorists of possible traffic interruptions and delays as the IH-2/U.S. 83 westbound SS 115/23rd St. exit ramp and westbound frontage road from the IH-2/U.S. 83 westbound SS 115/23rd St. exit to SS 115/23rd St. will be closed beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8, 2021 and continuing through Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 5:00 p.m.

Permanent ramp closures

PHARR – Due to continued weather conditions, the permanent ramp closures of the I-2 eastbound entrance ramp, just east of Cage Boulevard, and the Veterans Boulevard exit (147A) ramp, have been rescheduled once again.
