Bark, bark, bark. It’s 3 a.m., and I’m not in a particularly good mood. In fact, this is about three nights straight I’ve been woken up in the middle of the night. Nobody’s up at this hour. Even the criminals have gone to bed.
The Board of Commissioners of the City of Pharr met for a regular meeting on Monday and considered an agenda that included various highlights.
HUB City Toastmasters meets each Wednesday at the Pharr Memorial Library, 121 E. Cherokee, second floor, from noon until 1 p.m. Visitors are welcome.
This week’s featured pets are Blake, a two year old female tabby cat, and Dimitri, a 3-year old male Plott Hound Cross. They’re different in just about every way, except for a couple of commonalities — either would make a great pet, AND they want to find their forever homes before Christmas.
