The Museum of South Texas History will feature the “Bishop Emeritus Raymundo Peña Nativity Scene Collection,” a spotlight exhibit displaying 120 nativity scenes until Sunday, Jan. 5, 2025.

Mission Consolidated Independent School District (CISD) is proud to announce that its Purchasing Department has been awarded the 2025 TASBO (Texas Association of School Business Officials) Award of Merit for Purchasing Operations. This esteemed recognition highlights the district’s unwavering commitment to maintaining professional standards and excellence in the procurement of goods and services.

District clerk staff presented a check to the United Way of South Texas in the amount of $3,600, as a part of their Blues for Bucks Workplace Fundraising Campaign. The fundraising initiative allows employees to wear jeans on Fridays in exchange for a $5 donation. The funds are collected for a six-month period then presented to a nonprofit organization that is randomly selected from a pool of staff-selected charitable organizations.
