This week’s featured pets are Blake, a two year old female tabby cat, and Dimitri, a three year old male Plott Hound Cross. They’re different in just about every way, except for a couple of commonalities–either would make a great pet, AND they want to find their forever homes before Christmas.
The holiday spirit continues at Quinta Mazatlán with the second night of its Holiday Music Series. On Thursday, head out to Quinta Mazatlán, 600 Sunset Dr., starting at 6:30 p.m., for an enchanting evening filled with traditional mariachi and folklórico performances from La Joya Palmview High School that will bring the sounds and colors of the season to life.
Students from the Donna ISD 18+ special education program spread holiday cheer by sharing their handmade creations and one-of-akind tree at the Region One Education Service Center (Region One) in Edinburg. Crafted in true Donna spirit, the tree is modeled after a teepee and fuses a 'Wizard of Oz' theme.
