Ukraine Can Win

When President Zelenskyy gave his address to Congress he asked again for a no-fly zone and also requested those Mig 29s that Poland had offered to give him through the United States. He backed that up with a video showing Ukrainians being shelled. At the end he also urged Biden to exercise international leadership. He referred to our 9/11 and Pearl Harbor attacks and stressed that his country was undergoing something similar EVERY SINGLE DAY.

CORRECTION: In last week’s editorial written about the simple act of kindness and standing up for those being bullied (3-16-22 Advance News), an extra line of white space between my own intro note and the suicide anecdote that someone had sent me was mistakenly deleted. My bad.

Sheriff’s deputy dies in wildfires

An Eastland County sheriff’s deputy died Thursday as wildfires swept through several small Texas communities west of Dallas, destroying at least 50 homes and charring more than 54,000 acres as of Sunday.
